Ueno is a skincare brand producing handmade, small-batch formulas.
Our products are made and dispatched from our studio in Tokyo, Japan.
References to "Ueno", "we", "us", or "our" throughout these terms refer to
Ueno Skin KK, a company registered in Japan.

2. Using This Website

2.1 Eligibility

By using this website, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age,
or that you are using it under the supervision of a parent or guardian.

2.2 Accuracy of Information

We make every effort to ensure product descriptions, ingredient lists,
and pricing are accurate and current. If an error occurs, we will correct
it promptly and notify you if it affects an order you have placed.

2.3 Prohibited Use

You may not use this website to:

• Misrepresent your identity or affiliation

• Harvest data, scrape content, or use automated tools to access the site

• Reproduce, distribute, or commercially exploit our content without written permission

3. Products

3.1 Small-Batch Nature

Our products are made by hand in small quantities. Slight variations in
colour, texture, or scent between batches are a natural consequence of
this process and do not constitute a defect.

3.2 Availability

We do not maintain large stock. Products may become temporarily or
permanently unavailable. If a product you have ordered is no longer
available after your purchase, we will notify you and offer a full refund.

3.3 Product Descriptions

We describe our products honestly. We do not make medical claims.
Our formulas are designed to support the skin, not to treat, diagnose,
or cure any condition. If you have a skin condition or medical concern,
please consult a qualified practitioner before use.

4. Orders & Payment

4.1 Placing an Order

An order is confirmed once you receive a written confirmation from us
by email. Until that point, no contract exists between us.

4.2 Pricing

All prices are shown in the currency relevant to your region and include
applicable taxes where required. We reserve the right to adjust pricing
at any time. Adjustments will not affect confirmed orders.

4.3 Payment

Payment is processed securely at the point of purchase. We do not store
your payment details. Accepted methods are shown at checkout.

4.4 Order Amendments & Cancellations

If you need to amend or cancel an order, contact us at
orders@ueno.com as soon as possible. We cannot guarantee changes
once an order has been packed for dispatch.

5. Shipping & Delivery

5.1 Dispatch Times

Orders are hand-packed and dispatched within one to two working days
of placement. You will receive tracking information once your order
has left our studio.

5.2 International Shipping

We ship to most countries. Import duties, customs fees, and local
taxes are the sole responsibility of the recipient. We recommend
checking your country's import thresholds before placing an order.

5.3 Delivery Issues

If your order has not arrived within the expected timeframe,
contact us at orders@ueno.com. We will investigate and
respond within two working days.

6. Intellectual Property

All content on this website — including text, product names,
photography, design, and code — is the property of Ueno Skin KK
or its licensors. Nothing on this site grants you a licence to use
our intellectual property without our prior written consent.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law, Ueno's liability in connection with
any product or use of this website is limited to the value of the
product purchased. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or
consequential damages arising from your use of our products or website.

This does not affect any statutory rights you hold as a consumer
under applicable law.

8. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will
be communicated by email or prominently on the website. Continued use
of the site after changes are published constitutes acceptance.

9. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Japan. Any disputes will be
subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Tokyo, Japan,
unless local consumer protection law requires otherwise.
